Creative Art VOLUNTEER Placement Detail
Art in Ghana – Opportunity to develop sessions with children practising different art forms. Sketching, drawing, painting, finger painting, clay making etc. You can either develop a project over time and work on techniques and practises the kids enjoyed, or use each week to try new things. You will visit the local school a couple of times a week to assist with the creative arts lessons at school.
Creativity in India – Not only will you get to explore the magical country that is India, with all it’s vibrancy and cultural diversity, you will also gain access to communities and projects that will allow you to explore your passion with local people. Develop your skills with regular activities and workshops. Work with local creatives in Jaipur to develop a workshop with local children. Share knowledge, skills and ideas with local artists and kids.
Art Therapy in South Africa – Working with an international charity supporting mums and children affected by HIV in Johannesburg, you’ll work directly with the residents to support their development and psychological needs. Using a mixture of play-therapy, art-therapy and workshops you will help and support this fast-paced chairty. During your stay you will visit partner NGOs to give you a broad understanding of how this complex country tackles some challenging issues.
