Ambassadors
make a lasting impact
Our mission as a charity has always been to build long-term partnerships and create sustainable change. This is true for our past volunteers too. You’ve been there (and got the t-shirt) and know the importance of each of the projects and the work they do.
By sharing the stories of your experience and spreading the word about Vocational Impact, you’ll be able to continue to support them and inspire the next generation of volunteers.
You know the excitement but also the nerves that go alongside planning and starting a trip abroad. Coupled with the pressure of working in a new field and gaining experience for your career—it’s a lot to handle.
That’s why we want to build a supportive community where the ‘VI Alumni’ are able to share their tips and experiences with new volunteers. This could be anything from posting on social media to attending freshers’ fairs or fundraising.
If you’re interested in working with us as a Vocational Impact Ambassador, we’ve set our our Step-by-Step Guide on how you can help below.

Become an Ambassador: How You Can Continue to Make a Difference
As a returning volunteer, you’ve already made a tremendous impact. Becoming an ambassador lets you keep that momentum going! Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you continue supporting our mission, share your experiences, and inspire others.
1. Share your feedback
Your experiences matter! Our online feedback form is the best way to share details about your trip. Your insights help us improve our programmes and create better experiences for future volunteers. Whether you loved your programme or have suggestions for us, every piece of feedback is valuable.
2. join our facebook community
Stay connected with like-minded individuals. By joining our Facebook group, you’ll become part of a global community of volunteers. Share stories, post photos, ask questions, and support others who are planning their journeys. This is also where we share exclusive opportunities for ambassadors.
4. Spread the Word at Your University
Reach out to your uni’s Go Global & Careers teams, Lecturers & Faculty. Tell them about your experience and how it contributed to your personal and professional growth. This is a great way to encourage more students to get involved. We’ve prepared email templates to make this easy!
5. Attend University Events
Be the voice of volunteering. Freshers’ fairs, student union events, lectures, and volunteer fairs are excellent places to share your story. If you’re interested in attending these events on our behalf, we’ll provide you with all the materials you need—and we’ll pay you for your time!
