Daniel first started taking pictures at a young age and by 16 was rarely seen outside without his trusty little Canon Powershot. With a background in Safari ecotourism, Daniel is passionate about the natural world and its conservation. In 2015 Daniel raised several thousand pounds for the charity Rhinos Without Borders.
Daniel canoed, unsupported, from the upper catchment of the Okavango in Angola to the Makgadikgadi Salt Pans in Botswana, a distance of over 1,700km. More recently Daniel has been working on a series of creative promotional videos with The Marine Megafauna Foundation, an international organisation who protect marine life in the Americas, the Western Indian Ocean and South East Asia.
After travelling Africa and living in Botswana for 5 years as a travel and nature photographer Daniel moved to England to study photography formally in London. As an associate of the Society Of International Nature and Wildlife Photographers Daniel now uses his imagery to inspire his audience through engaging with the natural world, the environment and the cultures living within it.
Dan visited India in 2017 with his partner Emma Foley with Volunteer Invest
Dan also filmed and recorded a promotional film for the NGO to raise essential funds for their new construction project. You can watch this here
